At the Dr. Louis Guss Foundation for Children, our programs are designed to unlock potential and create opportunities. We believe that every child, regardless of background, deserves access to high-quality resources, guidance, and inspiration. From early childhood to young adulthood, our initiatives focus on supporting the whole child—mind, body, and spirit—while also empowering families and caregivers to thrive alongside them.
Arts & Music Support
We provide scholarships, supplies, and mentorship for young artists and musicians. Our programs celebrate creativity and encourage self-expression through workshops, performances, and competitions.
Science & Sports Initiatives
We fund STEM camps, science fairs, and athletic training for talented youth. Children learn discipline, teamwork, and innovation through hands-on experiences.
Parent Support Services
We offer after-school care programs that support working families through STEAM enrichment and education. Our goal is to ease the burden on caregivers and help children grow through engaging, structured learning beyond the school day.
Foster & Adoption Assistance
We partner with foster care agencies and adoption networks to support children in transition. We provide essentials, advocacy, and emotional support to foster and adoptive families.
Job Training & Internships
We guide young adults through resume building, job readiness workshops, and hands-on internships. Our goal is to help them transition smoothly into adulthood and the workforce.
